will my roland a-300 work well with Serum

Hi, I have a Roland a-800 (same as the Roland a-300 and a-500), and want to know would it work well as a controller for Serum.

I'm considering getting Serum, I have also been looking at the Massive synth. I have read that the Roland a-800 doesn't work that well as a massive controller.

Does anyone know if it would be a good controller match with Serum?

And any thoughts on how Serum compares to massive, sounds and ease of use?

Serum has MIDI learn ability, once you are done learning the desired controls, you can save that as a template.
