i don't understand. I was going to test the demo version but i can't because the "skins folder in serum presets folder is missing. please help!
That shouldn't happen in the demo version. did you install Serum previously? What OS?
I'm getting the same thing on 10.12.5 - installed the demo, opened it in Logic Pro X 10.3.2 and get a dialog saying 'Skins folder in Serum Presets is missing.'
I have not previously installed Serum.
Also when I click the link you supply above I'm told I am not authorised to view that page (I am logged in, though).
Help! :)
UPDATE: it's because of permissions. I got it to work by allowing everyone to RW the folder and its contained files (via the Get Info box but obvs I could have used terminal). But I had to restart Logic to see the synth properly.
