NerveData folder missing

Started by csimokat

Hi, I recently purchased both Serum and Nerve to use in Bitwig Studio 2.0 on a Windows 10 Pro desktop. I have been able to work with the out of the box Serum presets no problem, but for some reason Nerve does not seem to have the NerveData folder in the xfer directory where one can find the Serum presets folder. I have had windows scan my computer for the folder and have been unable to find it anywhere. When I open Nerve even if I created an empty folder and point it at it it will not make any sounds. Why would the NerveData folder be missing and is there a known solution to this problem?

You need to install all the (Windows) Nerve downloads in "your account" - the NerveData installs from the 1.0 installer (you can skip the 1.0 plug-ins when running the installer). Look at the "read more" notes on the download page for more info.

Yes I just went to reread the downloads page after I saw the thread about how to fix some of the recurring issues people have with Serum presets. That actually makes a lot of sense. I am trying it now. Will post again shortly on the result. Thanks for the quick reply!

Hi! I recently downloaded Nerve from Splice and I am having the same problem. I am using a mac and I cannot find the Nerve Data anywhere… Where could I find it?

@peikjoonatan You need to copy NerveData from the 1.0 disk image - look in "your account". I would recommend to view the release notes there.

Steve
