Is it possible to install 2 instances on the same computer? I know the json file points to 1 location of the presets, and that might be a problem but let me explain why I need to do this… I find serum very slow to load up the more presets I have.. I had an idea to have a basic instance of serum installed on the same PC.
Instance has a slightly different meaning from what you describe, it sounds like you want two concurrent "installs" which is not possible due to the global files location (json as you mention). However You could make a script or similar to swap between SerumPrefs.json files (or simply edits the presets location entry in the file) if you're trying to switch between a minimal and maximal presets folder quickly. Or you could have a script move or rename the "Serum Presets" folders themselves.
